Social Protection & Labor Core Course Offerings

November 2, 2015

  • Social Protection and Labor core courses build on the latest developments in social protection systems.
  • The courses provide participants with an in-depth understanding of the conceptual and practical issues involved in developing social protection and labor programs.
  • A variety of learning methods are used, including presentations, round table discussions, simulation games, hands-on computer assisted exercises and group work.

The Social Protection and Labor Global Practice announces the dates of the 2016 Core Courses.

The Social Safety Nets and the Pension core courses will be held April 25 – May 6 in Washington, DC. The simultaneous delivery is a novel approach to the delivery of the courses.  The course will be hosted separately, but opportunities to address common topics are being developed.

The Social Safety Net Core Course registration is closed.

The Pensions Core Course registration is open through March 14, 2016. Please register for the Pensions Core Course.

The Labor Markets course is being revised and will not be hosted in the 2016 fiscal year.
