April is not only the season of cherry blossoms in Japan, but also of new beginnings. Many schools, companies, and local governments with which the TDLC works also begin a new fiscal year, and some people assume new positions.
The Road and Sewerage bureau of Fukuoka City Government, a TDLC partner city, welcomed a new Chief Executive, Kiichiro Takehiro, on April 1, 2025, and he and his team paid a courtesy visit to TDLC. TDLC and Road and Sewerage bureau of the city have a long history of cooperation, and the former Chief Executive recently visited the TDLC to engage in constructive discussions.
Fukuoka City has been actively engaged in technical supports in Asia and other countries. Under the new Chief, the city’s Road and Sewerage bureau has agreed to continue to explore a wide range of collaboration with TDLC Executive, including Technical Deep Dives.
