00:10 This annual exercise is an integral part of our commitment to promote
00:14 and increase the participation of diverse owned businesses in our supply chain.
00:19 We are seeking your support as a World Bank Group vendor and request that you
00:23 share information on your supplier diversity and inclusion
00:26 activities and spend with diverse owned businesses.
00:30 Information gathered through this reporting exercise will be
00:33 used to account and report on World Bank
00:35 Group's Tier 2 diverse spend and recognized vendors'
00:38 contributions to our supplier diversity and inclusion program.
00:43 Before we walk you through the questionnaire,
00:45 please remember that
00:46 for the World Bank Group,
00:48 diverse owned businesses are companies that are at least 51% owned,
00:52 operated,
00:53 and controlled by one or more individuals of a diverse background.
00:57 For this exercise,
00:59 we are requesting spend data for women,
01:01 minority,
01:02 disabled and LGBT owned business enterprises,
01:05 as well as micro,
01:06 small and medium sized enterprises.
01:10 The reporting period of this exercise is the recently concluded fiscal
01:13 year that starts on July 1st and ends on June 30th,
01:17 or the closest twelve-month period you have data available for.
01:22 We request that you complete this survey,
01:24 even if you have not yet established a supplier diversity and inclusion program,
01:28 or do not track or report spend with diverse suppliers.
01:32 Let's do a quick walkthrough of the survey.
01:36 To start,
01:37 access the online survey via the link provided.
01:41 Make sure you carefully read the welcome and
01:43 introduction message and press next to get started.
01:47 The first section is the general company information.
01:51 Please provide your company's legal name,
01:53 the vendor identification number assigned to you by the
01:56 World Bank Group at the time of registration,
01:58 the country in which your company is headquartered,
02:01 and the contact details of the best person to contact in
02:04 your company should any clarification on your submission is required.
02:08 The next section asks you to indicate the type of activities
02:12 your company takes to address inclusive sourcing and supplier diversity.
02:17 If you do not undertake any specific activities or you
02:20 are in the process of developing a supplier diversity program,
02:23 please indicate so to skip directly to the spend reporting section of the survey.
02:29 Otherwise,
02:30 select the options applicable to your company to move to the next set of questions.
02:35 In here,
02:36 you will be able to expand on your supplier diversity and inclusion program.
02:41 Use the fields to share any measurable goals you have,
02:45 the geographic scope of your program,
02:47 diverse business categories targeted,
02:49 your outreach and supplier development activities.
02:53 Use the last field to describe what makes your program innovative.
02:57 Share progress and success stories,
02:58 as well as explain how you are directly contributing
03:01 to the World Bank Group's supplier diversity program.
03:05 Next,
03:05 you are asked to confirm if you are able to report to
03:08 the World Bank Group your companies spend with diverse owned businesses.
03:13 If you are unable to report,
03:14 please select the reason and indicate when you estimate
03:17 you will be able to start reporting this information.
03:21 If you are able to track and report spend with diverse owned businesses,
03:25 confirm the reporting period for your data.
03:28 If your reporting period aligns with the World Bank Group fiscal year,
03:31 leave this question blank.
03:33 Otherwise,
03:34 indicate the start and end date of the most recent
03:36 12 month period you are able to provide data for.
03:40 Click on next.
03:42 We are now in the section about direct diverse spend.
03:46 Indicate if you engage subcontractors or contract suppliers for your
03:50 World Bank Group contract or contracts during the reporting period.
03:55 If any of those were diverse owned businesses,
03:58 please indicate the dollar amount spent with them.
04:01 Use US dollars in your figures and enter zero if your
04:04 company has no spend to report on a particular diverse category.
04:09 Once done,
04:10 hit next.
04:12 In the indirect diverse spend section of the survey,
04:15 you are asked to report your company's
04:17 spend with diverse owned businesses for goods and
04:19 services that do not directly relate to performing
04:22 work under your World Bank Group contract.
04:25 If relevant,
04:26 provide your total spend with such businesses during the reporting period
04:30 as well as your company's total revenue during this period.
04:34 This will enable us to calculate the portion of indirect diverse spend that
04:37 can be allocated to the World Bank Group as part of this exercise.
04:42 To complete your submission,
04:44 enter the contact details as an attestation that
04:46 the information provided is accurate and complete.
