Through a $590 million grant financing in five projects, the World Bank is helping Bangladesh address the basic needs—health, education, social safety nets, and basic service delivery—of the displaced Rohingya people until their safe and voluntary return to Myanmar and the host communities in Cox’s Bazar. The World Bank’s research and analysis is supporting better understanding of the challenges and development priorities in Cox’s Bazar.
