In May 2017, the first Innovate4Climate Finance & Markets Week took place, bringing together business and finance leaders, government representatives and multilateral institutions, to share ideas on how to use innovation in finance, markets and technology to accelerate climate action. This new annual forum featured more than 25 sessions, 100 side-events and workshops, and participation from more than 1,500 attendees from 82 countries. The week featured inspiring talks on innovation and new ideas on scaling up investments needed for climate action.
