Malagasy Families Get Access to Better Health, Nutrition and Education Services

Marie Elisabeth Vololonirina has six children. She lives in Amoronimania, a small rural village in central Madagascar. Thanks to a new project implemented by the Malagasy Government and financed by IDA – the World Bank’s Fund for the Poorest – Marie Elisabeth is now able to take her youngest children to the health clinic free of charge. Her family also benefits from improved access to nutrition and education services, making it possible for her children to learn, develop and grow.
