How Tanzania Plans To Achieve Big Results Now in Education

July 14, 2014 -- Tanzania has made huge progress over the past decade in getting children into school, but learning outcomes have been declining as schools cope with larger numbers of children. To urgently address this, Tanzania, with support from the World Bank and other donors, is adopting a new approach to solving development challenges in education under the “Big Results Now in Education” program. The program is expected to fast track quality improvements in primary and secondary education to ensure that students are not just going to school but actually learning.
