WASHINGTON, June 25, 2026―The World Bank Group today issued the following statement in the wake of the Venezuela earthquakes:
"The World Bank Group expresses its solidarity with the people of Venezuela following the devastating earthquakes. Our thoughts are with all those affected by this tragedy.
We stand ready to work with the Government in this difficult moment. We are in contact with Venezuelan authorities and are assessing how best to provide support, including through technical assistance and coordination with international partners responding to the disaster."
