MEDIA ADVISORY

Nouakchott, October 31, 2024 - The Islamic Republic of Mauritania will host a high-level forum on livestock and pastoralism in the Sahel and West Africa from November 6 to 8, 2024. Under the theme “Nouakchott+10: A Decade of Action for Pastoral and Agropastoral Communities – Achievements and Future Pathways,” this event marks ten years since the Ndjamena and Nouakchott Declarations, which established objectives to secure the livelihoods and production systems of pastoralist communities.
