World Bank Announces US Dollar Global Bond Issue

The World Bank has mandated Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan, and SBC Warburg Dillon Read to jointly lead-manage a USD global bond transaction. This would be the World Bank's fourteenth USD global bond since the first global bond was issued in 1989.

The transaction is expected to be launched in the coming days, market conditions permitting. The issue is expected to have a 5-year maturity, and the size of the transaction will range from USD 3 billion up to USD 5 billion.
