The World Bank announced today that it intends to prepay two of its outstanding ECU public issues – the 11 percent ECU bonds of 1983, due 1993, at their next coupon date of November 25, 1991, and the 10-5/8 percent ECU bonds of 1984, due 1994, at their next coupon date of November 30, 1991. The 11 percent ECU issue of ECU 50 million is to be prepaid in full, at 100.50 percent of par while the 10-5/8 percent ECU issue of ECU 75 million is to be prepaid in full, at 100.75 percent of par.
