The World Bank announced an Issue of $276,200,000 Two-Year U.S. dollar Bonds offered in markets outside the United States. The Bonds, to bear interest at the rate of 12.76% per annum, payable semiannually, were offered at par on August 14, 1984 to central banks, other governmental institutions and international organizations. A total of 55 institutions subscribed to the issue. A similar issue in the aggregate principal amount of $266,250,000 matured on September 15, 1984.
