The International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (World Bank) signed today a loan agreement with Bayerische Landesbank Girozentrale, Munich. The amount of the loan is DM 100 million (about US$32 million equivalent). The final and average maturities are 8 years.
The agreement was signed in Washington, D.C. at The World Bank's Annual Meeting. The proceeds of the loan will be used in the general operations of the Bank.
