The World Bank announced a SwF 300,000,000 offering (US$ 142.3 million equivalent) of Swiss Franc Notes to central banks, other governmental institutions and international organizations. The Notes, to bear interest at the rate of 5-1/16 percent per annum, payable annually, were offered at par on March 13, 1984. A total of 35 institutions subscribed to the issue. Two similar issues in the aggregate principal amount of SwF 301,800,000 matured on April 15, 1984.
