V. and The International Bank for Reconstruction and Development today announced a placement of 150,000,000.00 Dutch Guilders 8.25% five-year notes offered at a price of par. The notes have been fully subscribed. The notes were placed by a syndicate headed by Algemene Bank Nederland N.V. Other members of the syndicate are Amsterdam Rotterdam Bank N.V.; Bank Mees & Hope NV; Pierson, Heldring and Pierson N.V.; Cooperative Raiffeisen-Boerenleenbank B.A.; Nederlandsche Middenstandsbank NV; Earing Brothers & Co., Limited; Deutsche Bank A.G.; Nomura International Limited and Salomon Brothers International.
