The World Bank announced its eighth offering of Swiss Franc Notes to central banks, other governmental institutions and international organizations. The Notes, to bear interest at the rate of 5-1/2 percent per annum, payable annually, were offered at par on September 13, 1983. A total of 40 institutions subscribed to the issue. A similar issue in the aggregate principal amount of SwF 200,000,000 matured on October 15, 1983.
