The World Bank Group is preparing a new gender strategy to help it support countries and companies achieve gender equality as one pathway to ensuring lasting poverty reduction and shared prosperity.

To support this process, a dedicated consultation webpage has been launched with background information, resources and a schedule of face-to-face consultations, which is being updated regularly. The site also provides a platform for people to input into the development of the strategy.

Visit the consultation site here.

A Concept Note has also been prepared and will serve as a basis for discussion during our consultations with stakeholders from mid-April through mid-July. We hope to arrange a roundtable in London to discuss the strategy in the coming months.

If this meeting is of interest or if you have any further questions, please contact Ian White on iwhite@worldbankgroup.org
