REGISTRATION

Registration is now closed for the 2020 Annual Meetings.

Delegate

Delegates are governmental officials of the member countries of the World Bank Group and IMF, who will register through their respective Executive Director's office. Delegates should contact their Executive Director's office if they have not received information about registering. Early registration is recommended, but Delegates may register up until the final day of the Meetings.

If you have any questions about Delegate registration, please forward your inquiry to delegateregistration@worldbank.org

Observer

Observer registration is closed.

Observers are the representatives of the international, regional and economic organizations that were pre-approved and invited by the World Bank Group and IMF.  Please see the list of 2020 Annual Meetings Observer Organizations. If you have any questions about Observer registration, please forward your inquiry to ObserverRegistration@worldbank.org.

Guest

Guest registration is closed.

Guests fall within the following categories:

  • Private Sector: Representatives from financial institutions and banks, commercial enterprises, consulting, and contractor firms.

  • Parliamentarians and senators.

  • Academia: University professors, researchers, faculty members, and students who have research and educational interest in the operations and affairs of the WBG/IMF. Documentation should be submitted with the application (an endorsement letter from the Head of Department or Vice Chancellor of the University) confirming status in the University and stating academic interest.

WBG or IMF Guest? Guests may choose to register as either a guest of the World Bank Group or the International Monetary Fund, but may not apply as a Guest to both institutions. Submitting Guest requests to both institutions will substantially delay the processing of your application.

IMF Guests can register online here.

If you have any questions about Guest registration, please forward your inquiries to GuestRegistration@worldbank.org.

CSO

CSO registration is closed.

The WBG and IMF will host the Civil Society Policy Forum from September 28 to October 9. CSOs include non-governmental organizations, community groups, labor unions, indigenous people’s movements, faith-based organizations, professional associations, foundations, think tanks, charitable organizations, and other not-for-profit organizations. All other participants - such as representatives from the private sector, academia or governmental bodies - must apply for accreditation through the "Guests" or other relevant registration category.

For questions about CSO registration please write to csoregistration@worldbank.org.

Press

To be accredited, journalists must have valid press credentials issued by national or local authorities, or clear evidence that they are on assignment from a specific news organization or publication. A valid assignment letter from that news organization or publication is required. If such credentials are not held, it will be at the discretion of the Bank and Fund to determine whether access to the virtual Annual Meetings is granted.

If you have any questions about Press registration, please forward your inquiries to MeetingsPress@imf.org.
