Description: As part of the "Black Sea Submarine Cable Project", Georgia State Electrosystem (GSE) is inviting interested Survey Companies in Early Market Engagement for Black Sea Seabed Surveys for Geophysical & Geotechnical Investigations. Additional details can be found in the Invitation Letter included in the link.  

The first step for defining the survey program is to establish a communication bridge between the project promoter and the Survey Companies to perform a market analysis. The main purpose of the said market analysis is to gain knowledge about:

• market experience and view

• the availability of equipment and vessels to perform the seabed investigations

• the timing for the investigation

• cost estimation of the works

To this end, GSE would like to gather information through questionnaires. The information required from potential Survey Companies in this first stage is included in the questionnaire (also uploaded in the link).

GSE will limit the disclosure of confidential information provided by Survey Companies to GSE, any Consultants engaged by GSE for the preparation of the seabed surveys, the World Bank (as financier), and shall not disclose any confidential information to third parties (those being individuals, corporations, or other entities) without prior written consent of the potential Survey Companies.

Please note that once GSE has analyzed all the completed questionnaires, GSE will organize Early Market Engagement virtual meeting, where GSE will invite those Survey Companies who will have provided completed questionnaires thus expressing their interest in the seabed surveys. During the virtual meeting GSE will provide presentation on the main areas of Employer’s Requirements / Scope of Works for the seabed surveys, as well as respond to questions interested Survey Companies may have.
