The project aims to improve corridor functionality, reduce vehicle operating costs, increase transport efficiency, and boost local and regional economic development. Phase 1 focuses on rehabilitating road infrastructure and enhancing road safety, including building a bridge over the Dibamba, constructing modern weigh stations at Mbankomo and Edéa, monitoring works, establishing sustainable maintenance systems, and conducting technical studies for the Yaoundé-Bonis-Bertoua-Garoua-Boulaï route. The Ministry of Public Works will oversee implementation. This meeting is for information-sharing and idea-gathering only; it does not mark the official start of procurement.
