Ecological Civilization Dialogue Series is a knowledge-exchange series connecting China's proven experience with global priorities in ecological systems and transitions. Bringing together government, academia, civil society, international organizations, and the private sector, the series creates a platform for dialogue on topics of global significance that shape our ecological future, such as forest and landscape management, nature-based value chains, payment for ecosystem services, and more.The series is hosted by the China–WBG Global Center for Ecological Systems and Transitions (CWGC) at the CWGC Collaboration Space with virtual participation, convening every two months.

Session 1: Scaling Up Finance for Ecosystem Restoration unpacks the challenges and opportunities in mobilizing public and private investment for ecosystem restoration, featuring global trends in ecosystem restoration financing, China's eco-compensation policy framework and mechanisms for private-sector participation, and Brazil's experience in mobilizing finance for forest restoration.
