Africa's food systems are being reimagined. Driven by urbanization, technology, and a new generation of entrepreneurs — from social media-savvy farmers to young chefs building loyal followings online — agribusiness is emerging as a powerful engine for inclusive job creation across the continent.

Yet for all this momentum, women remain underrepresented in its gains. Despite being central to African agriculture, women are often held back by social norms, and unequal access to labor, inputs, credit, and markets, that together constrain their productivity and limit their economic opportunity. Closing these gaps is essential to unlock the full potential of Africa's agribusiness transformation.

Timed with the International Women's Month, this Africa Jobs Dialogue convenes inspiring women business leaders and changemakers to explore how agribusiness can drive better jobs and higher incomes across Africa — and what it will take to ensure women are at the forefront of that growth.
