Innovation for Service Delivery Series: Verifiable Credentials
Verifiable Credentials are the foundational technology underpinning the strategies of more than 40 governments and intergovernmental organizations working to deliver health, agriculture, financial inclusion, and access to government services in a secure and privacy-preserving manner, enabling trusted cross-sector and cross-border transactions.
This session will illustrate why this technology is truly transformational and explore where and how it is being deployed beyond digital ID credentials, including through the use of open standards, agile implementation approaches, and rapid prototyping.
The World Bank is working closely with partners across the ecosystem to support countries in digitalization journeys that enable service delivery at scale. This sessios is relevant for a whole-of-government audience—supporting governments to accelerate and innovate how they delivery services across agencies and sectors.
