Description: The Ministry of Natural Resources and Energy with the Eswatini Electricity Company as an implementing agency, invite potential bidders to participate in an Early Market Engagement (EME) session for the upcoming high value procurement package financed by World Bank under ASCENT Project to strengthen and expand the electricity network in Eswatini. This session is designed to collaborate and gather the potential bidder’s valuable insight and feedback for best outcome of the bidding process as the project develop the package and bidding documents. The Project aims to rehabilitate the distribution network in existing grid-connected areas across selected towns; construct new transmission lines and sub-stations; and modernize the transmission and distribution networks in different areas of the country.
