Description: The “Multilateral Development Projects: Procurement Readiness & Opportunities in Egypt” event is a Business Outreach Seminar (BOS) aiming to expand market access and readiness among contractors and consultants by clarifying Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs) procurement pipelines, common bidding mistakes, and recent policy updates—enhancing competition, transparency, and participation, and supporting co-financing and ongoing engagement. The event is organized by the World Bank Group in collaboration with MDBs active in Egypt (African Development Bank, Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, Afreximbank, Islamic Development Bank and New Development Bank). This event is also in partnership with Professional Associations: the Egyptian Federation for Construction & Building Contractors (EFCBC), the Federation of Arab Contractors (FAC), the African Federation for Construction Contractors (AFCCA), and the Federation of Contractors in Islamic Countries (FOCIC).
