Description:

The Government of Gujarat through Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation is implementing the World Bank aided Manipur Gujarat Resilient Cities Partnership: Ahmedabad City Resilience Project.

Ahmedabad is presently served by multiple wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs). The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) is in the process of upgrading its wastewater treatment infrastructure through the construction of major sewage treatment plants of 375 MLD and 424 MLD capacities on the western and eastern sides of the city, respectively. However, AMC currently lacks adequate infrastructure for the effective treatment, handling, and safe disposal or reuse of sewage sludge generated from these facilities. In order to achieve the objectives of improved sanitation and environmental protection, AMC intends to develop two separate centralized sludge treatment facilities for the treatment, stabilization, and beneficial reuse of sewage sludge.

Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation invites you to participate in an Early Market Engagement (EME) session for our upcoming procurement package “Construction of Two Sludge Management Facility for Eastern and Western side of Ahmedabad” under the GRCP - ARCP Project.
