Description: This early market engagement seminar is an opportunity to learn more about the procurement process for construction of (i) “Badiauri-Chalaubani” and (ii) “Chalaubani-Bakurtsikhe” lane segments which is expected to start in February 2026.  The project entails several components: Component 1: Connectivity Improvements on the Eastern Corridor will support the construction of two four-lane segments (Badiauri-Chalaubani and Chalaubani-Bakurtsike) with the length of 22.6 km and 9.1 km, respectively, along the Kakheti Highway, and a 36.6 km two-lane road the towns of Gurjaani and Telavi. The procurement process for “Gurjaani - Telavi Road” is expected to start in Q1 2027. The project objective is to improve connectivity and climate resilience along key corridors in the Kakheti region, strengthen institutional capacity for enhanced resilience and management of the Georgian road network, and to provide immediate and effective response to an eligible crisis or emergency.
