In the current landscape of reduced sovereign budgets for official development assistance, the big question for all development practitioners is how to diversify sources of development finance especially as development challenges demand increased financing. 

This session will be a panel discussion of recent examples of innovative solutions which have deployed legal solutions and structuring is a critical first step to unlocking financing. Participants will be able to learn more about cutting edge ideas and transactions which are being deployed by different MDBs to increase financing capacity or address specific development challenges - with specific input on the role of lawyers and legal innovation.
