This session will explore innovative and digital legal solutions for the preventive administration of justice, from South America, Europe, Africa, and Asia. It will spotlights the evolving role of legal practitioners in enhancing land tenure, access to justice, and economic development. With the digital age transforming legal landscapes, the panelists will share how they're harnessing technology to make legal systems more efficient and accessible.
The session will highlight four initiatives:
- Dematerialization and digitalization of notarial services in Italy: Discover how Italian civil law notaries are leveraging digitalization to facilitate legal transactions, making them faster and more secure.
- Brazil's e-Notariado Platform: The Brazilian Notariat will bring insights into how this platform simplifies access to justice by offering secure online transactions, electronic identities, signature certifications and e-apostilles.
- Benin's Land Reform Plan: Benin will present “Terra Benin”, a World Bank-supported project aimed at securing property titles and transforming land tenure.
- Indonesia's Digital Transformation: Learn from an Indonesian notary about the issuance of electronic land certificates and the potential for future advancements to boost efficiency, security and transparency.
