- Overview
Artificial intelligence (AI) is everywhere and on everyone’s minds. AI has been around for decades, but generative AI – introduced at scale in late 2022 – has changed the landscape. This session will explore the increasing usage of technologies incorporating AI to support legal departments at development institutions. More generally, it will look at how those tools have been and might be used across the business lines of these institutions, and highlight corresponding legal and institutional risks that may arise from its use.
This session will raise awareness and share experiences of how AI governance issues arise in the development context and what the emerging enabling environment trends are for ensuring safe deployment and use of AI using real-world examples.
