The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy (MAFWE), within the framework of the Agriculture Modernization Project financed by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, is pleased to invite you to a public presentation and discussion of two key documents related to the upcoming construction works for the Agri-Food Platform (AFP) in Skopje:

• Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP) – detailing the environmental and social safeguards for the AFP site
• Early Market Engagement (EME) Framework – outlining the procurement approach for AFP construction
  
  

This event is designed to promote transparency, inclusivity, and meaningful dialogue among market actors, civil society, institutional partners, and other stakeholders. The presentation will provide an overview of the procurement strategy, technical scope, and environmental and social considerations for the AFP—a transformative wholesale and logistics hub aimed at strengthening competitiveness, traceability, and sustainability in North Macedonia’s agri-food sector.

On September 17, 2025 at 13:00 hours, Skopje time, Project Management Team will arrange Presentation Event at the Municipality of Gazi Baba, during which more deep discussions about the project will take place.
