Workshop on Early Engagement. It is a session that is dedicated to engage contractors who are actively operating in the marketing the construction of flood protection dikes and Embankment and related water works construction. The objective is to get feedback from the participants/ contractors on the specifications, drawings, draft bidding document, evaluation criteria, packaging, and related issues before advertising. The contract involves construction of flood protection dike that comprise an embankment section with major works of site clearing backfilling, slope protection, Geotextile filter, road base, vegetation cover(vetiver)that has a length of approximately 42km. The contract will be in two lots with lot-I with estimated amount of US$25Million and lot-II with estimated amount of US$16Million.
