The World Bank’s Finance, Competitiveness and Innovation Global Practice, and the Ministry of Investment, Regional Development and Informatization (MIRRI) are organizing a conference to present the results and lessons learned from the Digitrans project — a joint initiative of the World Bank and the European Commission (DG REGIO) aimed at enhancing digitalization of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Poland, Slovakia, and Bulgaria. MIRRI will present plans for incorporating the project's digital transformation instrument into its national support programs for MSMEs.
The Digitrans project aims to design, pilot, and evaluate an effective instrument to strengthen firm productivity through the adoption of digital technologies and complementary managerial and organizational practices.
During the event in Bratislava, participants will discuss implementation results and the national deployment strategy. Attendees will include MIRRI leadership, public institutions focused on private sector development, beneficiary firms from the pilot phase, implementing partners, and stakeholders involved in scaling the program.
