This 60-minute virtual event showcased some of the key implementation highlights of the World Bank's Environmental and Social Framework (ESF) achieved in the last four years. A special focus was placed on strengthening national environmental and social (E&S) management systems in various countries.
MATERIAL
The ESF was launched on October 1, 2018, and applies to all Investment Project Financing (IPF) from that date onwards. It enables the World Bank and Borrowers to better manage environmental and social risks in projects and to improve development outcomes in client countries.
