  • As Malaysia aspires towards its next phase of development to attain high income status, the role of innovation-led productivity growth becomes even more pivotal. Pandemic-induced economic setbacks have also made the longer-term goal of making private firms more resilient and globally competitive even more urgent. In the current fiscally constrained environment, policy support to promote private sector innovation needs to be recalibrated to respond to the current needs of the private sector more efficiently. This event brings together findings from regional and Malaysia-specific reports on the innovation landscape. Join us as we explore the steps being taken to boost innovation and competitiveness among Malaysian firms.
