Did you know? India has one of the lowest female workforce participation in the world. This means – seven out of every ten educated women in the prime working age (26-45 years) are not economically active. Women missing from the workforce undermines India’s true economic potential. This International Women’s Day, the World Bank puts the spotlight on how this trend can be reversed through the South Asia Women in the Workplace Week from March 8-13.
