    The event will open with remarks by Omar Razzaz, Minister of Education in Jordan and Hafez Ghanem, World Bank Vice President for the Middle East & North Africa.

    The agenda includes a presentation of the findings of the World Development Report featuring Deon P. Filmer and Halsey Rogers, co-directors of the report and a panel discussion with regional ministers on the current state of education in the Arab World, moderated by World Bank Education Practice Manager Safaa El-Kogali.
