The World Bank presented its flagship report World Development Report 2015: Mind, Society and Behavior in two separate events in Rome on January 27, 2015.
The report holds new insights on how people make decisions; it provides a framework to help development practitioners and governments apply these insights to development policy.
Anna Fruttero, one of the authors of the WDR, first presented the report at the International Fund for Agricultural development, IFAD. Talking to an audience of development practitioners from multilateral and agricultural organizations, the event addressed the implications of the WDR for rural development policy and programs. The lively panel discussion included as well representatives from coffee-maker Lavazza, FAO and IFAD.
