Over 40 companies participated in a seminar on commercial and investment opportunities in Laos and Cambodia held on June 18, 2014, organized by PSLO Johan Malin, from Flanders Investment & Trade (FIT). The seminar was a precursor for companies interested in participating in FIT's business mission to Laos and Cambodia which will take place in November and include visits to the WBG offices in both countries as well as meetings with the heads of implementing agencies. The conference speakers included representatives from the Cambodian and Laotian embassies in Belgium, a representative of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), and testimonies from two Belgian companies which have experience setting up subsidiaries or investing in Cambodia and Laos.
