World Bank Group President Jim Yong Kim visited Berlin on May 13, 2014 to participate in a meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and the heads of the International Labour Organization (ILO), International Monetary Fund (IMF), Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), and World Trade Organization (WTO) to discuss the current state of and challenges in the global economy. The participants also held a joint press conference and issued a joint press release. President Kim further met with new Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development Gerd Müller and participated with him and leading representatives from German faith-based and civil society organizations in a roundtable discussion on religion, values, and sustainable development..
