Join us for a roundtable discussion on the “Urban China: Toward Efficient, Inclusive and Sustainable Urbanization” study. As urbanization touches on issues ranging from education to health care, to transport and to green growth, the report’s focus on developing a strategy for urbanization will be relevant not only for China, but for countries around the world.

The Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC) is one of China’s leading policy research institutions. Founded in the early 1980s, DRC has been providing strategic advice to the government on China's economic and social development, and its reforms and opening-up. DRC has partnered with the World Bank on China 2030: Building a Modern, Harmonious, and Creative Society and Urban China: Toward Efficient, Inclusive and Sustainable Urbanization.
