Mariam Malidze is an Analyst with the Business Location topic of the Business Ready unit. She previously worked with the Business Insolvency team, which she joined in October 2024. Prior to joining B-READY, she served as Legal Counsel for the investment arm of Bank of Georgia, where she led legal work on M&A transactions, bond issuances, and the launch of Georgia’s first retail investment platform. Mariam also worked as an Edmund S. Muskie Fellow at the Brookings Institution, supporting research and portfolio analysis for the institution’s endowment fund, and as a Financial Analyst at TuneHatch, Inc. She holds a Master of Science in Finance from Vanderbilt University, where she was a Fulbright Scholar; a Master of Law in Comparative Private and International Law from New Vision University in Tbilisi, Georgia; and a Bachelor of Law from Tbilisi State University. Mariam speaks Georgian, English, and Russian.
