Feature Team Members

Hana Monafal Elnour Bakhit is an Analyst with the Business Location topic of the Business Ready (B-READY) Unit. She joined the team in November 2025. Before joining the World Bank, Hana worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Virginia’s Center for Social Innovation, where she contributed to research projects on urban infrastructure, sanitation, public health, and development economics across multiple countries. She also worked with NGOs and international organizations on governance, elections, and policy research in Sudan. Hana holds a Master of Public Policy from the University of Virginia’s Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Khartoum. She speaks Arabic and English.
