Franciszek (Frank) Bryk
Franciszek (Frank) Bryk is a Consultant in the Business Ready Unit, working on the Utility Services topic. He joined the World Bank Group in 2024. As part of the Subnational Business Ready team, he was responsible for data collection and analysis in the Environmental and Building Permitting topics in Poland, along with developing reform recommendations and liaising with local administrations and private sector associations. He also assisted with drafting and editing reports for Italy and Ireland. In the summer of 2025, he supported the Business Ready Unit during data validation and joined the team in January 2026. Previously, Frank worked as a journalist covering business and politics in the EU and the UK. Reporting from London, Berlin, Munich, Cannes and Warsaw, he revealed transactions and strategy changes made by leading investment managers, investigated financial fraud cases and analysed policy developments for an audience of business leaders. He holds an MSt degree from the University of Oxford and an MA (Honours) degree from the University of St Andrews, where he studied philosophy, international relations and economics. Frank is certified in PRINCE2 Project Management. He speaks English, French, Polish and intermediate Spanish.
