Ana Baiadze

Ana Baiadze is an Analyst with the Market Competition – Innovation topic of the Business Ready Unit. She joined the team in August 2025 following an internship within the same indicator. Prior to joining the World Bank Group, Ana worked at the Bank of Georgia as Head of the Legal Research Group, engaging in financial-sector reform processes, contributing to major regulatory initiatives, leading legal compliance work, and supporting the Bank’s strategic transactions. She also served as a lawyer at the Business Association of Georgia, upholding member companies’ interests in the development of national regulatory frameworks through parliamentary hearings and ministerial consultations, grounding reform proposals in comparative research, international best practices, and domestic legal analysis. Ana holds a Master’s degree in Law and Finance from the University of Oxford, a Master's degree in Private and Tax Law from the Free University of Tbilisi, as well as two bachelor’s degrees—in Law and in Economics—both from Tbilisi State University. She is proficient in English, has a working command of Russian, and is fluent in Georgian.
