Urmika Tripathi

Urmika Tripathi, an Indian national, joined the Regulatory Efficiency team in 2024 as a consultant in the Business Insolvency topic. Before joining the World Bank, Tripathi worked as a Senior Associate with AZB & Partners, an Indian law firm where she specialized in corporate insolvency and debt restructuring. Her research on insolvency laws of Asian emerging economies has been published and recognized on several platforms globally. She holds a bachelor’s degree in law from NALSAR University of Law, India and is admitted to practice law in India. She is also a Fellow of INSOL International. She speaks Hindi.
