Tommaso Rooms, an Italian national, is a Senior Private Sector Development Specialist at the World Bank with over ten years of experience. His work focuses on analytical research and advisory on regional development, the investment climate, and subnational governance. Since joining the Bank in 2011, he has led projects across a wide range of contexts—from OECD economies to developing and conflict-affected countries. He holds an MA in Public Policy and Administration from the London School of Economics, as well as an MA in International Relations and a BA in Political Science from the University of Florence. Before joining the World Bank Group, he served as Academy Coordinator at the Global Governance Program of the European University Institute. Rooms speaks Italian, French, and Spanish.
