Miguel Soriano is the Country Anchor for Advisory/Upstream for the financial sector, leading and overseeing the Advisory/Upstream projects for Indonesia, Timor-Leste and Thailand. His work focuses on the origination and management of innovative projects designed to create new markets, address development gaps, and ultimately stimulate private sector investments. He brings over 20 years of experience in investment banking, business development, strategy consulting, and project management. Prior to IFC, Mr. Soriano worked on Wall Street for 12 years as an investment banker at Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse, JP Morgan, and Deutsche Bank, where he advised executives of Fortune 500 companies on strategic growth solutions, including mergers and acquisitions, as well as debt and equity investment transactions.
