Henrique B. Zayzay is a Short-Term Consultant with the Finance, Competitiveness, and Innovation (FCI) Global Practice for the Western and Central Africa Region at the World Bank Group. Henrique has a background in economics with a strong focus on private sector development, SME growth, and investment climate reforms. His work centers on advancing inclusive economic growth by supporting initiatives that improve access to finance, strengthen business ecosystems, and enhance competitiveness in Liberia.

Before joining the World Bank Group, Henrique gained experience across both the public and private sectors, working on initiatives related to business development, trade, and investment. He has developed expertise in stakeholder engagement, program implementation, and policy dialogue, particularly in the context of supporting small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

Henrique holds a master’s degree in economics from the Renmin University of China and a BBA in Accounting from the Stella Maris Polytechnic.
