Colleen E. Keenan

Colleen Keenan is a senior financial officer at the World Bank Treasury. As a member of the investor relations team, she is responsible for outreach on the bonds issued by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) and the International Development Association (IDA).  Colleen leads the World Bank’s engagement with investors on impact reporting and disclosure for its sustainable bond issuance. This includes the development of the Sustainable Development Bond frameworks for IBRD and IDA. She represents the World Bank as a member of the executive committee of the Green, Social, and Sustainability Bond Principles.

Colleen has over 20 years of experience in financial services.  Before joining the World Bank, Colleen was at Morgan Stanley Investment Management in New York where she focused on client services and marketing for institutional international equity and global asset allocation products. She holds an M.A. in Economics and International Development from the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University.
